Liquidation For Manufacturers

Liquidation Services For
Manufacturers

Manufacturers gather vast amounts of data, and spend large sums of money, to help them project how much of any particular item they should produce. Despite their best efforts, they don’t always get it right and over-runs result. Even when they do get it right, orders get cancelled or other events result in the manufacturer winding up with more inventory than they can sell through their existing sales channels. This inventory can pose a significant problem, as well as a large expense in warehousing it all.

This excess inventory creates problems for manufacturers that are not shared by other members of the retail chain.  One such problem is the “Grey Market”, where their legitimate product is sold through unauthorized sales channels.  Manufacturers invest heavily in their forward sales channels, creating an authorized distribution network, allowing them to control where and for how much their product is sold.  Selling their overstocks to brokers who then resell it in bulk to other, unauthorized retailers, creates competition against those authorized resellers which in turn hurts the manufacturers overall sales.  Additionally, unauthorized resellers are not bound by the manufacturer’s map pricing, often selling the items far below the price authorized resellers can sell the same, or similar, product for.

RL Liquidators has solutions for these complex and difficult challenges.  Through our unique and proprietary sales channels, we can liquidate high volumes of inventory directly to the consumer, preventing it from reaching the grey market.  Since all of our sales channels are local to specific markets, we can determine where your product is sold to avoid impacting your map pricing.

Liquidation Services For Distributors

We are the leading reverse logistics company on the western coast of the United States.

As a manufacturer, you have the difficult task of trying to determine how much of your product to produce, often months or even years ahead of the anticipated demand.  Even the most successful manufacturing companies aren’t right 100% of the time.  While most of the product will sell through at close to expected rates, there are almost always exceptions.  Sometimes manufacturers produce too little and miss out on sales that could have been realized; a painful experience.  Equally painful is when you produce too much.  After spending the money and resources to manufacture the product, you might find yourself in a position where you can’t move it all. You then have to continue to spend time, money and resources warehousing dead freight.  This is where RL Liquidators can help.  RL Liquidators can move that dead freight, producing the highest rates of return in the industry, adding money back to your bottom line. A simpler way to put it is reverse logistics is the monitoring of the life-cycle of one's products as soon as they are sent towards that the ending user. This can comprise your product, even though it might possibly be redeemed, the way that it needs to be discarded later usage, and almost any other manner at which your product could make price. Reverse logistics which directly impacts the supply chains that the many would be the return of products by the ending user right back into the manufacturing company.
